Kelso Fette Sauv & BBQ
A couple weeks ago, Kelso of Brooklyn introduced Kelso Fette Sauv, a beer brewed specifically for the barbecue restaurant Fette Sau. The brewery says “The Fette Sauv has a pilsner malt base, is fermented with Sauvignon Blanc Yeast and aged with toasted French oak, passion fruit, and a generous amount of Summit (think tangerine) hops. Very crisp, with a big passion fruit nose and luscious mouthfeel. A refreshing summer beer that pairs perfectly with BBQ.”
Fette Sau offers slow cooked meats that include pork and beef ribs and shoulders, pigs’ tails, flank steak, leg of lamb, pork belly, and pastrami. Combine that with the impressive tap selection, (poured via a row of knife tap handles) and you have yourself a fine meal.
So this Summer, check out the Fette Sauv while it’s available and pair it with some barbecue!
